May 19 daytime update

• 6:35AM - Maureen is sound asleep. Her diaper is dry.

• 8:55AM - Maureen is beginning to wake.

• Day officially began @ 9:20AM. Maureen is in good spirts. Her diaper was wet. Maya cleaned Maureen thoroughly with warms wipes in the purple packet. She put on a fresh pull up and a new pair of pants.

• Breakfast began @ 9:43AM. Maureen is slumping forward badly. We used both green wedge pillows to help straighten her out just a bit.

• THAT'S NEW - Maureen's left hand is was abnormally cold. None of her other extremities were cold.

• Maya and I examined Maureen's lower back (sacrum). We did not notice any red marks. We did discover an excessive amount of Desitin in her entire lower area—anus and vagina.

• Maureen coughed only once or twice during breakfast.

• Nasal congestion is almost nonexistent. We will not administer Flonase.

• 10:03AM - Morning medications administered—blood pressure and baby aspirin.

• 10:20AM - We decided to move Maureen to the lift recliner since she was slumping forward so badly. Maya applied face and arm/hand cream in the recliner. She almost immediately perked up and got very chatty with Maya. This happens somewhat regularly.

• 12:45PM - We took Maureen to the bathroom. Her pull up was somewhat wet. Maya thoroughly cleaned her and put on a new pull up. Maureen did not urinate or move her bowels in the toilet.

• 1:20PM - Lunch. Maureen sat up nicely during lunch with minor assistance from one of the green wedge pillows.

• 2:20PM - Massage therapy sesión with Sr. Roberta.

• 3:35PM - Fruit snack
