May 16, 2021 Swingshift Update

• 4:00pm Maureen is lying comfortably in her recliner.

• 4:16pm Transferred Maureen from recliner to day chair using the Hoyer lift. Maureen is up to the bathroom. Pull-up is medium wet, performed perineal care and put on a fresh pair. Maureen urinated (cloudy) but did not move her bowels.

• 4:38pm Used the lift by the stairs and transferred Maureen to the day chair downstairs. Maureen is now sitting outside in the back patio enjoying the weather.

• 6:00pm Dinner time out in the back patio. Maureen ate 100% of her spaghetti and Italian sausage and had one cup of water.

• 7:25pm Maureen is up to the bathroom. Pull-up is dry. Maureen did not urinate or move her bowels.

• 7:35pm Administered 7.5mg OLANZAPINE with yogurt and 7.5mL VIMPAT. Oral care after.

• 8:05pm Bed time. Transferred Maureen from the day chair to bed using the Hoyer lift. Pull-up is dry, changed to a fresh diaper. Applied Vicks to chest and both right and left big toe. Due to Maureen’s COVID vaccine shot in right arm, advised not to have her lie on her right arm. Maureen is lying on her left side.

• Maureen’s temperature at bedtime is 99.4F.
