March 23 daytime update

  • Day began @ 7:50AM. Diaper was dry. Maya changed and cleaned Maureen.

  • Maureen is alert and sitting up nicely in day chair.

  • Breakfast went well. Maureen coughed only a few times.

  • Since Maureen had only a small bowel movement yesterday, we gave her 1/2 a glass of prune juice.

  • We administered a dose of Flonase into each nostril.

  • 8:45AM - Maureen requested to go to the bathroom. She urinated in the toilet. It was cloudy. Pull up was completely dry. We did not change it.

  • Maureen began to tilt to the left at around 9AM.

  • 10:00AM - Smoothie time.

  • 10:15AM - She is getting some what listless and continues to tilt to the left. Motor skills and speech are not as sharp. Just held a sip of water in her mouth for more than 5 minutes.

  • 12:20PM - Went to bathroom. Wet pull up. Nothing in toilet.

  • GENERAL OBSERVATION> Maureen’s legs are much less stiff today. Yesterday, they were quite rigid.

  • 2:15PM - We took Maureen to the bathroom. She urinated and moved her bowels in the toilet. It was a large sizable stool.
