June 7 daytime update

• 6:45AM - Maureen is sleeping.

• Maureen continued to go in and out of sleep for the remainder of the early morning. We gave her sips of water using a pink mouth swab during this period.

• Maureen began her day @ 8:05AM. She is wide awake and alert. Tom and I did not note much congestion. The diaper is light wet. Click/tap here to view a detailed overview of the process Tom and I use to get Maureen ready for the day.

• Breakfast service began @ 8:42AM. Posture in the geri chair is good. Maureen is tilted a bit forward and to the left. We used the two green wedge pillows to straighten her posture. Click/tap here for detailed overview of the entire breakfast service process Tom and I use each day.

• Daily MiraLAX dosage: None

• General observations @ 9:30AM> Breakfast went well. Maureen had reasonably good energy throughout. She was engaged and communicative with Tom.

• 9:45AM - Morning oral care

• We tilted the geri chair back one level for Maureen's comfort and to relieve the stress/pressure on her sacrum.

• 10:15AM - Facial treatment including hands and arms

• 10:30AM - Tom clipped and buffed Maureen's fingernails.

• 11:04AM - Organic fruit smoothie

• 11:38AM - We headed to the bedroom to prepare for Rest Break #1. Diaper was medium wet. After completing a clean & change, Tom and I placed Maureen on her right side.

• 11:52AM - Rest Break #1 begins

• 1:06PM - Rest Break #1 ends. Diaper was light wet. Maureen also had a small formed bowel movement. Upon completion of a clean & change, Tom and I transported Maureen to the kitchen for lunch.

• 1:25PM - Lunch | We prepared 1/2 a tuna salad sandwich on toasted sourdough bread, 1/2 a bowl or organic chicken and rice soup and a serving of beets. Maureen will drink one 12-ounce bottle of Harmless Harvest Organic Coconut Water during the lunch service. For dessert, she will enjoy a small serving of rice pudding.

• 2:20PM - Afternoon oral care routine

• 3:35PM - We headed to the bedroom for the afternoon clean & change. Maureen will not get a second rest break today. Diaper was medium wet. Upon completion, we headed to the front room for the remainder of the afternoon.

• 4:00PM - Afternoon fruit snack.
