6.30 am- Maureen is awake since 5.30 am.
8.00am- The day started! Maureen‘s diaper was wet. Cleaned thoroughly , put a new diaper on, pair of socks and a shorts. Put Vicks in the big toes. Transferred her to the day chair using the Hoyer lift.
8.15 am- Breakfast includes a banana, oatmeal, glass of prune juice .Administered the morning pills at 8.40 with apple sauce. Teeth care followed.
9.00am- We did a PT. Maureen started to sslump forward significantly, the diaper was still dry . We decided to transfer her to the recliner.
She got more talkative and engaging.
10.15 am- Smoothie time
12 pm- Diaper is wet. We transferred Maureen to the day chair using the Hoyer lift and decided to take Maureen to the bathroom. She did not urinate or moved her bowels. Cleaned and put a new pull up.
12.20 pm- Lunch time. Maureen had a bowl with chicken noodle soup and half of turkey sandwich with half of fresh tomato and fresh salad. She had a bottle of coconut water.
During lunch she was leaning forward a lot. The green wedge pillow didn’t help much.
1.30pm-We transferred Maureen to the recliner. She is relaxing comfortably , watching a Disney movie.
3.20 pm- Maureen‘pull up was heavily wet. We took her to the bathroom. There was a fecal residue on the pull up. She did only a marble size BM. Did not urinate. After cleaning, changing to a new pull up and shorts , we returned to the recliner.
