June 24, 2021 Daytime update

6.30 am- Maureen is awake. She has been so since 5.30.

8.00 am- The day begins. Maureen is in a good spirit. Her diaper is still dry. We transferred her to the day chair using the Hoyer lift.

8.10 am- breakfast time. Maureen had a glass of prune juice, an oatmeal and a banana. She was tilting to her right, we used the green wedge pillow for support. Maureen was engaging and talkative during breakfast. Administered morning medication at 8.30. Teeth cleaning after.

10.00 am- smoothie time

10.30 am- Maureen diaper is still dry. We transferred her to the recliner, using the Hoyer lift. Time for the morning show.

11.45- diaper is wet. We took Maureen to the bedroom to change . Cleaned well, put a new diaper and shorts on. Transferred her to the day chair using the Hoyer lift.

12.00pm- Lunch time. Maureen enjoyed her left over BBQ ribs and a fresh salad. Had one bottle of coconut water. She was sitting upright, we didn’t need the wedge pillow. .

2.00 pm- The diaper is wet. Transferred Maureen to the bed using the lift. Cleaned and changed with a new diaper. Transferred Maureen to the recliner using the Hoyer lift.
