  • 4:00pm Maureen is lying in the recliner comfortably.

  • 5:00pm Carolyn came for a visit.

  • 5:45pm We took Maureen to the bathroom. Pull-up is dry. Maureen did not urinate or move her bowels.

  • 6:00pm Dinnertime. Maureen enjoyed a fantastic dinner from Gale Street Inn. She ate all of her tomatillo soup, ribs, potatoes, and spinach and drank one cup of water. Maureen was leaning forward and to her right consistently throughout dinner. The green wedge pillow did not help as much in keeping her upright. Maureen is usually not like this during dinner time. Following Carolyn’s advice, we found some success in placing Maureen’s elbows on the day chair arm rests to help keep her somewhat upright.

  • 7:04pm Administered 7.5mg OLANZAPINE with pudding and 7.5mL VIMPAT. Oral care after.

  • 7:32pm Due to Maureen‘s positioning in the day chair, we decide to help her in to bed using the Hoyer lift. Pull-up is slightly wet, cleaned thoroughly and put on a fresh diaper. No redness observed. Applied Vicks to chest and both right and left big toe. Maureen is lying on her left side.
