6:35AM - Maureen is sound asleep.
7:20AM - She continues to be sound asleep.
7:55AM - Maureen is beginning to stir.
Our day officially began at 8:07AM. Diaper was wet. The urine had seeped through to the bed pad. Maureen is in god spirits—alert and engaged. Maya cleaned Maureen with warmed wipes from the purple packet. There were no red marks on Maureen's posterior.
Breakfast service began at 8:25. Maureen was listing to the left in the day chair. Maya inserted a green wedge pillow into the day chair to straighten her posture.
Nasal congestion is minimal. We will not give Maureen Flonase.
Maureen will drink 1/2 cup of prune juice this morning.
Breakfast service is complete. Maureen did not experience any difficulties chewing or swallowing—no coughing.
8:40AM - Morning medications administered—blood pressure and baby aspirin.
9:00AM - Maureen is starting to show signs of losing energy.
9:30AM - We ventured out for a stroll around the neighborhood.
10:15AM - Upon returning to the house, we decided to take Maureen to the lift recliner. Before doing so, Maya checked Maureen's pull up. It was dry.
10:20AM - You know what time it is. Organic fruit smoothie time.
11:45AM - Maya determined Maureen's pull up was wet. We took her to the bathroom. Maureen did not urinate or move her bowels on the toilet. Maya throughly cleaned her and put on a fresh pull up. There were no red marks on Maureen's posterior.
12:00PM - Lunch | Spicy tuna roll, tuna avocado roll and homemade chicken and onion soup.
1:05PM - Maureen said she needed to go to the bathroom. We took her. It was a false alarm. Her pull up was dry.
1:35PM - Maureen's stylist Deanna came to the house to color and cut her hair. It went well. Her hair looks spectacular.
3:04PM - Maya checked Maureen's pull up immediately after Deanna departed. It was wet. We took Maureen to the bathroom. Maureen had a large firm bowel movement while sitting on the toilet. She also urinated in the toilet. Maya throughly cleaned Maureen and put on a fresh pull up. We did not observe any red spots on Maureen's posterior.
3:25PM - Goodness served. Maya gave Maureen her daily fruit snack.
