June 14 daytime update

• 6:35AM - Maureen is sleeping—moving around a bit. Diaper is dry.

• 7:35AM - Maureen continues to sleep. She is not moving around much or talking to herself.

• Our day officially began at 8:07AM. Maureen is in good spirits. She is alert and negated. Diaper was wet. Maya thoroughly cleaned Maureen with the warm wipes contained in the purple packet. She noted no redness/red spots on Maureen's posterior.

• Breakfast service began at 8:25AM. Maureen was tilting slightly to the left. Maya inserted a green wedge pillow into the day chair to straighten her posture.

• 8:43AM - Morning medications administered—baby aspirin and blood pressure

• Maureen coughed only once during breakfast. She had no difficulty whatsoever ever with chewing and swallowing.

• Nasal congestion is not present. We will skip the Flonase.

• As usual, Maureen will consume 1/2 a glass of prune juice. Maureen continues to truly enjoy it. She never holds a drop of it in her mouth.

• 9:02AM - Held sip of water in mouth for an extended period of time.

• 9:14AM - Maureen's brow is beginning to furrow. She is slumping forward a bit more in the day chair.

• 9:45AM - Maya and I took Maureen for a lovely stroll around the block. The weather is picture perfect. It seems as if Maureen really enjoyed being out in the fresh air getting some sun.

• 10:30AM - Organic fruit smoothie time.

• Maureen coughed 3-4 times after finishing the smoothie.

• 10:40AM - Maya checked Maureen's pull up. It is dry.

• 10:47AM - We took Maureen to rest/relax in the lift recliner.

• 12:15PM - Maya checked Maureen's diaper. It was wet. We took Maureen to the bathroom. She had a very large formed bowel movement in the toilet. Maureen did not expel any additional urine.

• 12:35PM - Lunch. Today Chef Maya served homemade Chicken & Onion soup, 1/2 tuna salad sandwich on whole wheat bread and a sliced tomato.

• 2:35PM - Maya checked Maureen's pull up. It was wet. We proceeded to the bathroom. Nothing more transpired. Maya thoroughly cleaned Maureen and put on a new pull up. There are no red spots anywhere on Maureen's posterior.

• 3:10PM -Afternoon fruit snack.
