  • 6:35AM - Maureen is awake—stirring lightly. She is chatting with herself. Diaper is dry.

  • 7:20AM - We turned the massage feature the bed. Maureen continues to chat. Diaper remains dry.

  • 8:15AM - Maureen continues to go in and out of sleep mode. We are going to let her remain in bed for a bit longer.

  • Day began @ 8:55AM. Maureen is in good form. Diaper was wet. Maya cleaned Maureen with warm wipes from the purple packet and put on a fresh pull up and pair of shorts. No red marks present.

  • 9:15AM - Breakfast service begins. Maureen's posture in the day chair is perfect—no tilt or slump. She is sitting up erect without assistance.

  • 9:16AM - Thyroid pill administered.

  • RIGHT RED EYE UPDATE> The redness in the lower part of the eye socket continues to go away. It looks much better. There was no sleep/gunk in her eyelashes. Maya washed the eyelashes in both eyes with Johnsons baby shampoo. She also put over the counter drops in both eyes.

  • Maureen will consume 1/2 a glass of prune juice this morning.

  • 9:27AM - Morning medications administered—blood pressure and baby aspirin

  • Coughing during breakfast was minimal—just a few times.

  • 9:35AM - Forward slump has begun. It is slight at this point. Maureen continues to sit upright in the chair unassisted.

  • 10:00AM - Since the weather outside is perfect, Maya and I decided to take Maureen outside for an extended stroll. We were out for almost an hour.

  • 11:10AM - Upon our return, we took Maureen to the bedroom to be cleaned and changed—Maya noted her pull up was wet immediately after we got in the door.

  • 11:25AM - Organic fruit smoothie time.

  • 11:50AM - Maureen took a nap in the lift recliner.

  • 12:50PM - Maureen awoke and began to show the common symptoms of what we have come to call a slight seizure: disorientation, twitching arms, clenched jaw and on a few occasions a twitching upper lip. These symptoms persister for approximately 30 minutes.

  • 1:35PM - Due to the slight seizure, we decided to give Maureen lunch in the lift recliner in the front room. Everything went well.

  • 2:32PM - Maya checked the pull up. It was wet. We headed to the bathroom. Maureen immediately had a very small firm bowel movement in the toilet. She did not urinate again. Maya throughly cleaned her. No red marks noted on the posterior area.
