July 15 daytime update

• 6:35AM - Maureen is sleeping

• 7:00AM - No change. Maureen has not even stirred a bit.

• 7:30AM - No change. Maureen continues to sleep soundly.

• Maureen began her day @ 9:05AM. She is in good form. Congestion is not too great. The diaper is medium wet. Click/tap here to view a detailed overview of the process Djon and I use to get Maureen ready for the day.

• 9:36AM - Djon gave Maureen a dose of Flonase in each nostril.

• Breakfast service began @ 9:37AM. Posture in the geri chair is very good. She We used the two green wedge pillows and the red couch pillow to set Maureen up perfectly. Click/tap here for detailed overview of the entire breakfast service process Djon and I use each day.

• Daily MiraLAX dosage: None

• Due to bowel inactivity, we will administer one Senna tablet approximately two hours after Maureen takes her last standard daily medications. Maureen will also consume 6 ounces of prune juice today.

• General observations @ 10:00AM> We are behind our normal schedule because Maureen slept till 9:00AM. Breakfast went well. Maureen had a good amount of energy this morning. She was quite the chatterbox. Chewing and swallowing went well. Maureen only coughed once.

• 10:04AM - Djon administered the last of the morning medications.

• 10:10AM - Morning oral care routine

• 10:45AM - Organic fruit smoothie

• 11:20AM - Djon administered one Senna tablet.

• 11:30AM - We headed to the bedroom in advance of Rest Break #1. Diaper was medium wet. After completing a clean & change, we placed Maureen on her right side.

• 11:45AM - Rest Break #1 begins.

• 12:30PM - Rest Break #1 ends. Diaper was slightly wet. Sandy and Djon cleaned and changed Maureen

• 12:51PM - Lunch | Djon prepared 1/2 a tuna salad sandwich on toasted sourdough bread, 1/2 a bowel of homemade vegetable soup, 1/2 a tomato sliced and a medley of grilled portobello mushroom, squash and zucchini. Maureen will drink one 12-ounce bottle of Harmless Harvest Organic Coconut Water during the lunch service. For dessert, Maureen enjoyed a small serving of rice pudding.

• General observations @ 1:10PM> Lunch went well. Maureen was active and engaged. Chewing and swallowing were problem free. She only coughed four times. Posture in the geri chair was very good. Maureen did not fall asleep in the geri chair.

• 1:50PM - Afternoon oral care

• 2:13PM - Djon and Sandy transported Maureen to the bedroom in advance of Rest Break #2. Diaper was light wet. After completing a clean & change, they placed Maureen on her left side.

• 2:27PM - Rest Break #2 begins.

• 3:06PM - Rest Break #2 concludes. Diaper was medium wet. Maureen had a large formed bowel movement. After completing a clean & change, Djon and Sandy transported Maureen to the front room for the remainder of the afternoon.
