July 15 daytime update

• 6:35AM - Maureen is awake. She is lightly stirring in bed. Diaper is dry.

• 7:54AM - Situation is the same.

• Our day started @ 8:05AM. Maureen is in good form. Her diaper was dry. Maya cleaned her with warm wipes from the purple packet and put put on a fresh pull up.

• Breakfast service began @ 8:25AM. Maureen has been tilting to the left since we put her in the geri chair. We inserted green wedge pillows on each side. Overall, her posture in the geri chair is good—no forward slump whatsoever. Maya administered the thyroid pill immediately.

• Maureen will consume 1/2 a glass of undiluted prune juice during the morning.

• 8:46AM - Blood pressure and baby aspirin administered.

• 8:48AM - Tilting to the left continues. There is no forward slump.

• Coughing was very minimal during breakfast—one to two times at most.

• RED RIGHT EYE UPDATE> Lower socket in right eye is almost completely healed. There is no sleep/gunk on Maureen's eyelashes. Maya cleaned all of the eyelashes with Johnson's baby shampoo and warm water. We did not put drops in her eyes today.

• 9:26AM - Tilting to the left continues. Maureen is not slumping forward at all.

• 10:10AM - Organic fruit smoothie.

• 10:39AM - Maya and Djon checked Maureen's pull up. It was wet. We decided to go to the bathroom using the day chair. The geri chair remained in the kitchen. Maureen urinated a good amount and had a very small bowel movement in the toilet. It was a very productive trip to the bathroom. Maya throughly cleaned her and put on a fresh pull up. No posterior red marks were visible.

• 12:15PM - It is Pasta Thursday.Chef Brian prepared linguine with sautéed mushrooms in a marinara sauce. Maureen's posture in the day geri chair was excellent.

• 2:04 - Maureen remains in the geri chair in the kitchen. Her posture continues to be very good—some tilting to the left but no slumping.

• 2:15PM - Maya and Djon checked the pull up. It was wet. After some discussion, we thought it best to give the bathroom another shot. Maureen had a medium size firm bowl movement at the 10-11 minute mark. She did not urinate in the toilet bowl. Maya throughly cleaned Maureen and put a new pull up on. There were no red marks on Maureen's posterior.
