January 7 daytime update

• 6:35AM - Maureen is awake.

• 6:45AM - Maya checked the diaper. It is wet.

• Maureen began her day @ 8:15AM. She is engaged and chatty. Diaper is medium wet. Maya applied Tolcylen to both big toes right away. We did a clean and change using all three 3M Cavilon products where appropriate. Lastly, Maya cleaned all upper body areas of focus with Aloe Vesta Cleansing Foam. None of these areas require the application of Nystatin Ointment.

• Breakfast service commenced at 8:55AM. Posture in the geri char is good. Maureen continues to tilt forward and to the left somewhat. Maya started out by giving Maureen a teaspoon of Manuka honey followed immediately by the thyroid pill.

• Maureen will consume approximately 6 ounces of prune juice today.

• Daily MiraLAX dosage: 1/4 cap

• 9:20AM - Maya administered the blood pressure medication.

• 9:23AM - Maya gave Maureen a dose of Robitussin cough syrup. As you might have guessed, she did not like it. Maureen gave the taste an enthusiastic two thumbs down.

• 9:25AM - Morning oral care routine

• 9:35AM - Eyelash cleaning

• 9:45AM - Daily facial and skin treatment at Spa Maya

• 9:55AM - Hand, arm, shoulder and leg exercises.

• 10:34AM - Organic fruit smoothie

• 10:58AM - We headed to the bedroom to prepare for Rest Break #1. Diaper was medium wet. Maureen had a medium size very soft bowel movement. The feces got on her vaginal area. Maya deeply/thoroughly cleaned Maureen's entire midsection. We then put on the new diaper and set Maureen up on her left side.

• 11:16AM - Rest Break #1 begins.

• 12:18PM - Rest Break #1 concludes. Diaper was medium wet. After completing a clean & change, we headed to the kitchen for lunch.

• 12:35PM - Lunch | Maya prepared 1/2 an organic egg salad sandwich , 1/2 bowl of homemade organic mushroom soup and 1/4 of a tomato sliced. Maureen also drank 1 12 ounce bottle of Harmless Harvest Organic Coconut Water. For dessert, Maureen enjoyed a small serving of rice pudding.

• 1:35PM - Afternoon oral care

• 1:55PM - We took Maureen to the bedroom for a clean & change in advance of Sr. Roberta's visit. The diaper was medium wet. Maureen had a medium size very soft ( a bit softer than the first one today) bowel movement. Maya throughly cleaned Maureen's entire midsection. We then headed to the front room to position her in the lift recliner.
