Friday, Oct. 13, 2023 - Daytime Update

8:00AM - Came in with an awake Maureen, lying on her left side. Dalia informed that Maureen woke up a few minutes when she arrived at 6:30am. She's been sleeping in and out since then.

8:35AM - In an upright position, we administered 75mcg of Levothyroxine with apple sauce.

8:45AM - We started Maureen's day by washing her upper body with warmed purple wipes. No redness on skin observed. Diaper was medium wet, we cleaned and changed her. Applied Cavilon barrier film on sacrum and Cavilon cream on folds. Finished dressing and transferred to the kitchen.

9:00AM - Started breakfast with 6oz prune juice with 1/2 cap MiraLAX, sips of coffee, oatmeal/fruit smoothie with 1tbsp flaxseed and yogurt. Maureen coughed twice (used suction machine to aid getting rid of the phlegm).

Daily dose of MiraLAX - 1/2 cap

9:30 - Administered 10mg Loratadine with yogurt.

9:40AM - Oral care.

9:55AM - Reclined geri chair one notch for Maureen's comfort. Facial and hand care routine.

10:30AM - Maureen currently snoozing.

11:00AM - We transferred Maureen to the bedroom for her 1st rest break. Diaper was medium wet with very small soft bowel movement. We cleaned and changed her. We position Maureen to face her right side starting at 11:10am.

12:10PM - 1st rest break ended. Diaper was dry. Transferred Maureen to the kitchen.

12:20PM - Lunch was sushi, 12oz of sparkling water and yogurt. Maureen enjoyed her lunch. Coughed twice. **We reclined geri chair one notch in the middle of giving Maureen her lunch due to her leaning forward a little bit.

1:00PM - Oral care.

1:05PM - BP: 110/75, 68

1:30PM - Maureen sitting on recliner - awake, listening to music.

2:10PM - Transferred her to the bedroom for the 2nd rest break. Diaper was heavy with small formed bowel movement. We cleaned and changed her thoroughly, then positioned to face her left side starting at 2:25pm.

3:25PM - 2nd rest break ended. Diaper was medium wet with small soft bowel movement. We cleaned and changed. Transferred Maureen to the front room.

3:40PM - Fruit snack (pear, kiwi, melon).
