Friday, November 25, Daytime update

• 6:30 am- Maureen is awake. Her diaper is dry. She is laying on her left side. I gave her a little water with the swab.

• 7:00 am- Maureen is still awake. Diaper is dry. I gave her more water with the swab.

• 7:30 am- Maureen is awake, her diaper is wet now, she still gets some water with the swab

• 8:00: am- Our morning begins. Maureen's diaper was medium wet. We cleaned and changed, applied 3 M products . There is no redness observed. Washed Maureen's upper body. Dressed and headed to the kitchen.

• 8:20 am- Breakfast-Started with Levothiroxin in apple sauce. Maureen is having oatmeal, banana , 8 oz of prune juice with 1/2 cup of Miralax, cup of water. Loratadine and Lisinopril after with apple sauce. Maureen coughed twice.

• 9:00 am- Morning oral care.Reclined the geri chair down for Maureen’s comfort.

• 9:15 am- Washed eyes and put eye drops.

• 9:20 am- Morning facial routine.

• Daily Miralax dosage- 1/2 cup.

• 9:30 am Maureen was in a good spirit. Alert and engaging. Her energy is starting to fade now.

• 10:00 am- Maureen is dozing off in the chair.

• 10:30 am- Smoothie time. There were no coughs.

• 11:00 am- We transferred Maureen to the bedroom for her first rest period. The diaper was wet ,she urinated when we started the cleaning process and had a very large formed bowel movement. We cleaned, changed and positioned her on the right side for an hour starting at 11:15 am.

• 12:15 pm- First rest break is over. Maureen's diaper was dry. We dressed and headed to the kitchen.

• 12:30 pm- Lunch- Butternut Squash soup, shrimp salad, a third of tomato, bottle of coconut water. One cough.

• 1:00 pm- Oral care.

• 1:20 pm- We reclined Maureen's chair one notch down.

• 2:00 pm- Maureen finished her full cup of water and we transferred her to the bedroom. The diaper was heavy wet and there was a small soft bowel movement. We cleaned, changed and positioned her on the left side for a rest break #2 , starting at 2:15 pm.

• 3:15 pm- Second rest break ends. Maureen's diaper is dry. We dressed and headed to the living room.

• 3:30 pm- Fruit snack.Maureen coughed 3 times.
