Friday, May 8, 2026 - Daytime Update

9:30AM - Maureen's on her left side, still sleeping. No signs of any pain or discomfort.

9:50AM - She slightly opened her eyes and we placed her in an upright position. Maureen took 6oz of thickened water. Neb treatment with albuterol followed.

10:10AM - Administered 75mcg of Levothyroxine with apple sauce.

10:20AM - Me and Sheryl washed her upper body with warm purple wipes. No redness on skin. Diaper was dry with small, brownish v. discharge. We cleaned and changed her. Applied Cavilon barrier film on both posterior and anterior inner thighs, applied Sureprep barrier film on sacrum. We finished dressing and proceed to wash Maureen's hair.

10:40AM - We transferred to the front room.

Breakfast - waffle with butter and grape jelly, kiwi and thickened 8oz prune juice with 1/2 cap Miralax. Coughed once and sneeze multiple times. Maureen ate very well.

11:15AM - Administered 20ml of cough syrup and 10mg of Loratadine with apple sauce.

11:22AM - Oral care.

Facial and hand care routine followed.

12:00PM - Maureen's relaxing while on recliner. Listening to 80s songs.

12:45PM - She closed her eyes, taking a nap.

1:15PM - Maureen's ready for her watermelon fruit snack. She finished 10oz of thickened coconut water. Coughed 3x and sneezed 3x.

2:05PM - Neb treatment with albuterol.

2:20PM - We transferred Maureen to the bedroom for her rest break. Diaper was medium wet with extra large, formed BM. We cleaned and changed her. Position to face the right side.

3:20PM - Rest break is over. Diaper was clean and dry. We dressed Maureen and moved to the front room.

3:30PM - Maureen had banana bread and 10oz thickened sparkling water. Maureen coughed 2x, used suction machine 2x.

4:30PM - Dinner - chicken tenders, french fries, coleslaw, and 10 oz thickened sparkling water. Maureen enjoyed dinner. Coughed 2x.

Total liquid intake - 44oz

5:30PM - Administered 5mg Olanzapine with apple sauce, 12.5ml Vimpat and 20ml cough syrup.

5:45PM - Oral care.

6:10PM - We transferred Maureen to the bedroom. Diaper was medium wet, we cleaned and changed her. Applied Cavilon cream on posterior and anterior inner thighs. We changed her and positioned to face the left side with 2 wedges on the back.
