Friday May 17, 2024 Daytime update

• 8:00am Maureen is just opening her eyes with a slight twisting, it lasted about 8 minutes. She accepted sips of water afterward. Tom tells, Maureen woke up calmly around 6:30, had sips of water via swab and fell asleep again.

• 8:30am Maureen is awake, we raised the bed to administer 75mcg with apple sauce.

• 8:40am Our day starts giving Maureen an upper body bath using warmed purple wipes, no redness observed. Merianne and I clean/change a medium wet diaper, applied Cavilon barrier film to sacrum and barrier cream to inner thighs. Dressed and headed to the kitchen.

• 9:00am Maureen drinks half cup of orange juice with a full cap of Miralax.

• 9:10am Breakfast: oatmeal/blueberries pancake, coffee, fresh orange and a cup of lemon water. Maureen coughed 4 times with runny nose, was able to release some phlegm on her own.

• 9:30am Administered 10mg Loratadine with apple sauce.

• Daily miralax dosage: full cap.

• Reclined Geri chair one notch for comfort.

• 9:45am Oral care.

• 9:55am Facial routine performed.

• 10:30am Maureen is sitting awake while watching a Disney movie.

• 11:30am Transferred to the bedroom for Maureen’s first resting break. Diaper was medium wet, clean/change, then positioned on her right side.

• 12:30pm First break ends. Diaper was dry, dressed and headed to the kitchen.

• 12:40pm Blood pressure: 106/70, P 57. Reclined Geri chair one notch after.

• 12:45pm Lunch: Creamy broccoli soup, lobster wrap, full cup of sparkling water and couple spoons of Greek yogurt for dessert. Maureen coughed twice and her nose was running during lunch.

• 1:45pm Oral care.

• 2:20pm Maureen looks tired today, however , she’s been awake the whole time drinking half cup of lemon water before her resting period.
  

• 2:30pm Transferred to the bedroom for Maureen’s second resting break. Clean/change a medium wet diaper and a Medium-soft BM, then positioned on her left side.

• 3:30pm Second break ends. Clean/change a medium wet diaper, dressed and headed to the living area.

• 3:45 pm Maureen’s enjoying her fruit snack (melon/pear/kiwi) and half cup of lemon water.
