8:00AM - Maureen's on her left side, sleeping soundly.
8:35AM - Maureen slightly moved and opened her eyes, and eventually went back to sleep minutes after.
9:00AM - Re-positioned Maureen to face the right side.
9:20AM - She opened her eyes and looking ready to start the day. We placed her in an upright position and administered 75mcg of Levothyroxine with apple sauce.
9:30AM - Me and Tom gave Maureen a full body bed bath using warm water and Cetaphil cleanser. No redness on skin. Diaper was dry with a small spot of brownish discharge. We cleaned and changed her. Applied Cavilon barrier film on sacrum and cream on inner thighs. Pressurr ulcer stage 1 - skin is still intact. We dressed Maureen and proceed to wash her hair.
9:55AM - We transferred to the front room. She had 10oz of lemon water before breakfast. Enjoyed her waffle with strawberry jelly and banana. Maureen ate very well. Coughed 2x.
She had an additional 10oz of apple juice.
10:30AM - Administered 10mg of Loratadine with apple sauce.
10:40AM - Oral care.
We dried and styled her hair quick. Followed with Neb treatment with saline.
10:55AM - Facial and hand care routine.
**Maureen started being jumpy after her oral care and lasted after Neb treatment. Pulse within normal range although higher than her usual 77-98bpm.
11:15AM- Maureen looked relaxed while sitting on the recliner.
11:30AM - We transferred her to the bedroom for the 1st rest break. Diaper was heavy wet, we cleaned and changed. Skin is slightly open on the pressure ulcer - applied Calazinc cream on the area. Position to face the right side.
12:40PM - 1st rest break ended. Diaper was clean and dry. We got Maureen dressed and moved to the front room.
12:50PM - Lunch - shrimp salad, fresh tomato and chicken-veggie soup. Maureen had 10oz of coconut water. Coughed 2x, sneezed once.
1:25PM - Oral care.
2:10PM - Kelsie, RN called about Maureen's pressure ulcer and according to Tom she adviced to apply the Calazinc cream (as needed). And, to continue with the Cavilon barrier film in the morning.
2:30PM - Maureen had 2oz of lemon water.
It's time for the 2nd rest break. Diaper was medium wet, we cleaned and changed her. Position to face the left side.
3:35PM - 2nd rest break ended. Diaper was clean and dry. We proceed to dressed Maureen and transferred to the front room.
3:45PM - Maureen had 9oz of lemon water. She enjoyed her fruit snack (banana, apple and lemon). No coughs.
**Total liquid intake - 41 oz
