Friday, July 28 Daytime update

  • 6:30 am- Maureen is sleeping. She is laying on her left side.

  • 7:30 am- Maureen is still sound asleep.

  • 8:00 am- Maureen is in and out of sleep.

  • 8:30 am- Maureen is awake now. We raised the bed and administered Levothyroxine with apple sauce.

  • 8:45 am - We started the day. Maureen's diaper was dry. Dalia and I changed it and cleaned Maureen. Applied Cavilon Barrier film and Cavilon cream. We washed Maureen's upper body. Dressed and headed to the kitchen.

  • Maureen's BP is 125/76.

  • 9:00 am- Breakfast- Oatmeal smoothie, 6 oz of prune juice with 1/4 cup of Miralax, cup of lemon water. No coughs.

  • 9:30 am- Administered Loratadin.

  • Daily Miralax dosage- 1/4 cup.

  • 9:35 am- Morning oral care. We reclined Maureen's chair down for her comfort.

  • 9:40 am- Facial routine.

  • 10:00 am- Maureen is snoozing in the chair.

  • 11:00 am- Maureen is awake now, she slept for about an hour.

  • 11:10 am- BP is 100/68.

  • 11:15 am- We transferred Maureen to the bedroom for her first rest break. Her diaper was light wet. Dalia and I cleaned and changed her. Maureen will lie on her right side for an hour starting at 11:30 am.

  • 12:30 pm- First rest break ends. Maureen's diaper was medium wet and she had a small formed bowel movement. Dalia and I cleaned and changed her. Dressed and headed to the kitchen.

  • 12:45 pm- Lunch- Chicken and green peas soup with parm crisps, half of yogurt, cup of lemon water. Maureen did not cough.

  • 1:15 pm- Oral care.

  • 2:00 pm- Maureen is resting in the chair. She finished her second cup of lemon water.

  • 2:20 pm- We transferred Maureen to the bedroom for her second rest break. Diaper was heavy wet and she had a very small formed bowel movement. Dalia and I cleaned and changed Maureen. Positioned her on the left side at 2:35 pm.

  • 3:35 pm- Second rest break e. Maureen's diaper was dry. We dressed and headed to the front room.

  • 3:45 pm- Maureen's BP is 113/72.

  • 3:50 pm- Fresh fruit snack- watermelon, pear and kiwi.

  • Maureen had a very quiet and sleepy morning. Almost no energy. . She was a little better in the afternoon, more awake and definitely more enthusiastic while eating the fruit. Coughing was minimal.
