Friday, February 3 Daytime update

• 6:30 am- Maureen is asleep.

• 7:30 am- Maureen is in and out of sleep.

• 8:00 am- Maureen is still in and out of sleep.

• 8:30 am- Maureen is awake. We started the day. Diaper was dry. Dalia and I washed Maureen's upper body , applied Hydrocortisone to her neck area. It's healing nicely, redness is almost gone. Dressed and headed to the kitchen.

• 8:45 am- Breakfast- Oatmeal, banana, 8 oz of prune juice with 1/2 cup of Miralax, cup of lemon water. We started with administering Levothyroxine with apple sauce. One cough. We reclined Maureen's chair because of her leaning forward.

• Daily Miralax dosage- 1/2 cup.

• 9:15 am- Administered Lisinopril and Loratadin with apple sauce.

• 9 20 am- Oral care.

• 9:30 am- Facial routine.

• 10:00am- Maureen is resting in the chair .

• 10:40 am- Half a smoothie. No coughs.

• Maureen has very low energy this morning. There is no congestion,only two coughs so far. She looks tired.

• 11:00 am- We transferred Maureen to the bedroom for her first rest break. Diaper was medium wet. Dalia and I cleaned and changed. Applied Cavilon Barrier film and Cavilon cream. Abdominal fold had slight redness, we applied a thin layer of Nystatin. Positioned Maureen on her right side at 11:15 am.

• 12:15 pm- Rest break #1 ends. Maureen's diaper was dry. We dressed and headed to the kitchen.

• 12:30 pm- Lunch- Vegetable soup, shrimp salad, steamed cauliflower, bottle of coconut water. No coughs.

• We reclined Maureen's chair because she was leaning forward.

• 1:00 pm- Oral care

• In the kitchen we noticed that Maureen's neck area was more red than the morning.

• 2:00 pm- We transferred Maureen to the bedroom. Maureen's diaper was heavy wet with a very small soft bowel movement. Dalia and I cleaned and changed her. Positioned Maureen on her left side at 2:15 pm. She is in the great company of her friend Barb.

• 3:15 pm- Rest break #2 is over. Diaper was medium wet with a very small formed bowel movement. Dalia and I cleaned and changed. Dressed and headed to the front room.

• 3:30 pm- Fruit snack. One cough.
