8:00am Maureen is sleepy, lying on her left. As per Tom, she woke up around 5:30, accepted sips of water via swab, and has been in and out of sleep since.
8:30am Maureen seems fully awake, we raised the bed and administered 75mcg Levothyroxine w/apple sauce.
8:40 Our day starts giving Maureen an upper body bath using warmed purple wipes and aloe vesta. Marianne and I cleaned and changed a md wet diaper and applied Cavilon barrier/cream. Redness spot by her armpit is fading, applied a thin layer of nystatin. Dressed and headed to the kitchen.
9/00am Administered 50mg Senna plus w/apple sauce and a cup of lemon water.
Reclined Geri chair one notch for comfort.
9:15am Breakfast: 8oz prune juice, oatmeal/fruit smoothie w/2 prunes and couple spoons of Greek yogurt. Coughed three times, sneezed twice, suction pump used.
9:30am Administered 10mg Loratadine with smoothie.
No miralax, Senna instead.
9:50am Morning oral care.
10:00am Facial routine.
10:30am Maureen is napping peacefully in the chair.
11:00am Blood pressure: 110/65, P 75.
Maureen had 1/4 cup of ginger tea.
11:15am Transferred to the bedroom for Maureen’s first resting period. Cleaned/changed a md wet diaper and positioned on her right side at 11:30
12:15pm First resting break ends. Diaper was md wet, cleaned and changed. Dressed and headed to the kitchen.
12:30pm Lunch: Grilled turkey breast/cheese sandwich, fresh tomato, full cup of ice sparkling and couple spoons of Greek yogurt for dessert. Coughed once.
1:10pm Oral care.
2:00pm Maureen sits in good posture, her arms are relaxed, she is alert and in good spirits listening music.
Maureen 1/4 cup of ginger tea.
2:30pm Transferred to the bedroom for Maureen’s second resting break. Diaper was md wet, cleaned and changed. Positioned on her left side at 2:45.
3:30pm Second break ends. Diaper was dry, dressed and headed to the living area.
3:45pm Maureen is enjoying her fruit snack (melon/pear/kiwi). No coughs.
