Friday December 16, 2022 Daytime update

8:00a-Maureen’s awake. Maya states that she was sleeping on her arrival at 6:30am. In and out of sleep for about 15 minutes before 8am. She has been taking water w/the swap. Diapers now wet. She has been lying on her Lt side.

8:20am- Maureen’s fully awake, we start our day changing md wet diaper w/3m product. Pelvic are fold is still reddeNed, nystatin was applied. Maya and I performed upper body was, dressed and into the kitchen we go.

8:40am - We start by gibing Maureen the Levothyroxine pill w/apple sauce. Breakfast: oatmeal, banana, 8oz prune juice w/1/2cup miralax and a glass of water. At the end of breakfast, Lisinopril and Loratadine was administered. She coughed 3 time.

9:20am- Oral care and facial care.

9:35am-Maureen’s now resting on her reclined chair. Her arms and hands are currently relaxed.

10:30am-Maureen’s enjoying her fruit smoothie! Coughed once. She is snoozing a bit.

11:00am- We headed to the bedroom for Maureen’s 1st brake. Diaper was md wet, cleaned w/ Cavilon products. Lying on her Rt side, brake #1 begins at 11:15am. Bed massage is on.

During her break Maureen had a LG BM, it was soft formed one.

12:15pm- 1st brake ends. Diaper was heavy wet; we cleaned her w/3m and Aloe vesta product, got her into her pants and towards the kitchen we go.

12:35pm-It is lunch time, she‘s having tuna salad, Brussel sprouts, a bottle of coconut water, and butternut squash soup. Maureen coughed 4 times during lunch.

1:10pm-Oral care

1:20pm- We moved back Maureen’s chair one notch. She’s now sitting confortable. This time she didn’t take a blink.

2:00pm-Into the bedroom we go for Maureen’s 2nd rest. Her diaper is wet, plus she added another pee during changing making it heavy wet. Cavilon products are used and cream reapplied to her privates. Pelvic folding area looks better, but there are steel some minor redness spots. At 2:20pm Maureen’s positioned lying on her Lt side and bed massager is on for preventing bedsore to appear.

3:20pm-Second break ends. Maureen’s diaper is dry. We got her pants on to go to the front room. Here she is having her so loved fruit snack.

Daytime Summary

Maureen had a regular day in which her body functions were normal. No panic attack or excessive movements of her extremities were present. Energy is goo, she even gave us couple smiles and a few words.
