Friday, December 15 Daytime update

• 6:30 am- Maureen was awake when I arrived, with Tom by her side, getting some sips of water .

• 7:00 am- Maureen is closing her eyes from time to time.

• 7:30 am - Maureen is in and out of sleep.

• 8:00 am- Maureen is still in and out of sleep.

• 8:30 am- Maureen is still cllosing her eyes at times. She looks sleepy.

• 8:45 am- Maureen was awake for a few minutes and went back to sleep.

• 9:00 am- Maureen is sleeping.

• 9:30 am- Maureen is still deeply asleep.

• 9:57 am- Maureen woke up and started twitching. Her eyes were wide open, mouth clenched and she made the clicking sound with her tongue. Pulse raised up to 141 and slowly started going down. At 10:08 it was in the 80-s. The whole episode lasted about 11 minutes.

• 10:15 - Maureen is calm . We raised the bed and administered 75 mcg of Levothyroxine.

• Maureen is happy having Colleen by her side.

• 10:25 am- We started the day. Maureen's diaper was medium wet. Merianne and I cleaned and changed her. Applied Cavilon Barrier film and Cavilon cream. We washed Maureen's upper body. No redness was observed. Dressed and headed to the kitchen.

• 10:45 am- Breakfast- Oatmeal smoothie, 6 oz of prune juice, few spoons of yogurt , cup of water.

• 11:10 am- Administered 10 mg of Loratadin with yogurt.

• BP- 115/70

• 11:15 am- Morning oral care. We applied Carmex to her lower right lip. Blister is almost healed.

• 11:20 am- Nebulizer treatment with saline solution and Albuterol.

• 11:45 am- A visit from Ann, Maureen's RN. She listened to Maureen's lungs. We are happy to hear that everything cleared! She advised moving forward to do the treatment as needed.

• 12:35 pm- Maureen's diaper is still dry.

• 12:50 pm- Lunch- Carolyn brought lunch in today. Maureen enjoyed a chopped salad with shrimp,, 12 oz of root beer. She coughed twice. Enjoyed Carolyn's delicious home made cookie.

• 1:30 pm- Oral care.

• 2:00 pm- We transferred Maureen to the bedroom for her only rest break today. Diaper was d. We positioned her on the right side at 2:10 pm.

• 2:50 pm- We repositioned Maureen.

• 3:30 pm- Maureen's rest break ends. Diaper was medium wet and she had a small soft bowel movement. Merianne and I cleaned and changed her. Dressed and transferred Maureen to the recliner.

• 3:45 pm- Fresh fruit snack- watermelon, kiwi and pear. No coughs.
