Friday, Dec. 20, 2024 - Daytime Update

8:00AM - Maureen was already awake, looking calm. No signs of pain or distress.

Checked the rashes on the backside of her right lower leg - redness appears lesser than previous day.

8:30AM - In an upright position, we administered 75mcg of Levothyroxine with apple sauce.

8:40AM - Me and Dalia started to gave her a full body bath, redness on inner right underarm is completely gone. Diaper was dry with small, light brown vaginal discharge. We cleaned/dried and changed her. Applied Cavilon barrier film on sacrum and cavilon cream on inner thighs. Proceed to wash her hair. Then, transferred after to the kitchen to blow-dry and style Maureen's hair.

9:10AM - We gave Maureen 8oz prune juice, half Activia yogurt with 1 tab Acyclovir 800mg (crushed). She also had 1/4 cup of water.

..we continue to blow-dry her hair.

9:25AM - Breakfast - pancake, Activia yogurt and 1/4 cup water. Coughed once.

9:50AM - Administered 10mg of Loratadine with yogurt. **Reclined geri chair one notch after for comfort.

10:05AM - Oral care.

Facial and hand care followed.

10:30AM - Maureen closed her eyes for a nap. Looking relaxed while sitting and listening to the christmas songs.

11:00AM - Administered 1 tab Acyclovir 800mg (crushed) with apple sauce.

P - 85 bpm

BP - 112/62

T - 98.2

11:30AM - We moved Maureen to the bedroom for her 1st rest break. Diaper was heavy wet with extra large soft BM. We cleaned thorougly and changed her. Position to face the right side.

12:40PM - 1st rest break ended. Diaper was clean and dry. We dressed Maureen and transferred to the kitchen.

12:47PM - Applied Triamcinolone Acetonide cream on Maureen's dorsal (back) left hand.

Lunch - tuna salad, guacamole and chicken-veggie soup (blended). Maureen had a cup of root beer. Coughed 2x and sneezed once.

**Reclined geri chair one notch prior to lunch for comfort.

1:20PM - Oral care.

1:45PM - Carolyn came by to visit Maureen.

Maureen was sitting very well and awake.

2:30PM - Maureen had half a cup of water.

It is time for Maureen's 2nd rest

break. We move her to the bedroom. Diaper was heavy wet, we cleaned and changed her. Position to face her left side.

3:30AM - 2nd rest break ended. Diaper was clean and dry. We proceed to dressed Maureen and transferred to the kitchen.

3:40AM - Administered 1 tab Acyclovir, 800mg with apple sauce.

Fruit snack (kiwi, pear and melon).
