Friday, August 4 Daytime update

• 6:30 am- Maureen is asleep. She is laying on her left side.

• 7:00 am- Maureen is in and out of sleep.

• 7:30 am- Maureen is asleep.

• 8:00 am- Maureen is still sleeping.

• 8:15 am- Maureen is calmly waking up.

• 8:30 am- Maureen is awake now. We raised the bed and administered Levothyroxine with apple sauce.

• BP is 109/74.

• 9:40 am- Maureen was very attentive, happy looking and gave us many big smiles. We started the day. Diaper was medium wet. Dalia and I cleaned and changed her. Applied Cavilon Barrier film and Cavilon cream. We washed Maureen's upper body. Dressed and headed to the kitchen.

• 9:00 am- Breakfast- Oatmeal smoothie, 6 oz of prune juice with 1/4 cup of Miralax, half of yogurt. One cough.

• Daily Miralax dosage- 1/4 cup.

• 9:40 - Administered Loratadin and Metoprolol with yogurt.

• 9:45 am- Morning oral care.

• 9:50 am- Nebulizer treatment with saline solution and Albuterol.

• 10:00 am- Carolyn visited Maureen.

• 10:10 am- Facial routine.

• 10:15 am- Maureen is already sleeping in the chair.

• 11:00 am- Ann Emberson, Maureen's Rn came to listen to Maureen's lungs. Everything is clear. Ann suggested to continue having a Nebulizer treatment with saline solution once a day to help loosen up any phlegm. BP is 92/62

• 11:20 am- We transferred Maureen to the bedroom for her first rest break. Diaper was dry. Positioned Maureen on the right side at 11:30 am.

• 12:30 pm- First rest break is over. Maureen's diaper was medium wet. Dalia and I cleaned and changed her. Dressed and headed to the kitchen.

• 12:45 pm- Lunch- vegetable soup, tuna salad, steamed Brussels sprouts, half of yogurt, cup of lemon water. Maureen coughed once.

• 1:20 pm- Oral care.

• 1:45 pm- Maureen is alert and engaging. She is having her second cup water.

• 2:10 pm- We transferred Maureen to the bedroom for her second rest break. Diaper was dry. Maureen will lie on her left side for an hour starting at 2:20 pm.

• 3:20 pm- Second rest break ends. Maureen's diaper was medium wet. Dalia and I cleaned and changed her. Dressed and transferred Maureen to the recliner.

• 3:35 pm- Nebulizer treatment with saline solution and Albuterol.

• 3:50 pm- Fresh fruit s- melons, kiwi and pear. Maureen coughed once.
