8:00am Maureen is awake, with Tom by her side. He tells, Maureen’s been in and out of sleep since 7:00am.
8:30am Maureen’s still sleepy.
9:10am Maureen’s awake, we raised the bed to administer 75mcg Levothyroxine with apple sauce.
9:20am Merianne and I started the day by giving Maureen an upper body bath using warmed purple wipes, no redness observed. Clean/change a dry diaper, applied Cavilon barrier film to sacrum, barrier cream to inner thighs area. There was some yellowing vaginal discharge. Dressed and headed to the kitchen.
9:40am Breakfast: 1 full Activia yogurt, coffee, oatmeal/blueberries pancake with strawberries jam and mandarin, and a cup of lemon water. Coughed three times, suction pump used once.
9:45 Administered 10mg Loratadine with yogurt.
No Metamucil given
10:15 Oral care.
10:25am Facial routine performed.
10:35am We go with Maureen for a walk around the neighborhood. She stayed alert the whole time.
11:20am Back home, Maureen had 3/4 cup of lemon water.
11:30am Transferred to the bedroom for Maureen’s first resting break. Clean/change a medium wet diaper, then positioned on her right side. Noticed some yellowing vaginal discharge.
12:30pm First break ends. Diaper it’s dry, dressed and headed to the kitchen.
12:45pm Blood pressure: 110/66, P 66.
Reclined Geri chair one notch for Maureen’s comfort.
12:50pm Lunch: Sweetpeas soup, tuna salad with beets and avocado, and a full cup of sparkling water. Coughed once.
1:35pm Oral care.
2:00pm Maureen sits relaxed and alert while listening to her playlist.
2:30pm Transferred to the bedroom for Maureen’s second resting break. Clean/change a heavy wet diaper, positioned on her left side. No vaginal discharge observed.
3:15pm Second break ends. Diaper it’s dry, dressed and headed to the living area.
3:30pm Maureen is enjoying her fruit snack (melon/pear/kiwi) and half cup of lemon water.
