Friday, April 29, Daytime update

• 6.30 am - Maureen is asleep.

• 7:00 am- Maureen is still sleeping.

• 7:30 am -Maureen is awake now. Her diaper is wet. She gets a few sips of water with the swab.

• 7:50 am- Maureen sounds asleep.

• 8:10 am - Maureen is awake now. Our day started. We began by putting a Tolcylen on the right big toe. The diaper was medium wet. We cleaned and changed.Applied Cavilon barrier film on the pressure spot area, Cavilon cream on her inner thighs . Cleaned her under arms, under breasts and inner side of the elbows with no rinse Aloe vesta cleaning foam.Dressed Maureen , transferred her to the chair and headed to the kitchen.

• 8:45 am- Breakfast time. Started with a spoonful of Manuka honey, followed by the thyroid medicine. Maureen had a bowl of oatmeal, a banana and 4 oz of prune juice. Administered the blood pressure and allergy medicine after. She did not cough at all while eating . The congestion is almost nonexistent. Maureen snoozed a couple of times during breakfast.

• 10:00 am- Oral care.

• 10:15 am- Facial time.

• 10:30 am- Smoothie time. Maureen coughed once.

• 11:10 am- We transferred Maureen to the bedroom for a change and a rest break. The diaper was light wet. We cleaned, put a new diaper on and turn Maureen on her right side for an hour.

• 12:15 pm- Rest break is over. We cleaned and changed Maureen. Put a Cavilon cream on. The diaper was medium wet. Transferred Maureen to the chair and headed to the kitchen.

• 12:30 pm- Lunch time. Maureen enjoyed a bowl of homemade soup, half a turkey and cheese sandwich with a fresh tomato on the side and a bottle of coconut water. She coughed twice . Maureen was very talkative and energetic during lunch.

• 1:15 pm- Oral care.

• 1:30 pm - We transferred Maureen to the bedroom for a change and another rest break. The diaper was medium wet. Cleaned, changed and positioned Maureen on her left side. This break will be short because of sister Roberta’s visit.

• 2:30 pm- The rest brake is over. Maureen’s diaper is medium wet. We cleaned, changed and transferred Maureen to the transport chair. We went to the living room and transferred Maureen to the recliner.

• 3:00 pm- Maureen is enjoying the relaxing session with sister Roberta. She is in a very good mood and talkative.

• 3:30 pm- Fruit time.
