8:00am Maureen is awake, lying on her left side.
8:20am Maureen seems fully awake, we raised the bed to administer 75mcg Levothyroxine with as apple sauce.
8:30am Merianne and I started our day giving Maureen an upper body bath using warmed purple wipes, no redness observed. Cleaned and changed a light wet diaper, applied Cavilon barrier film to sacrum, barrier cream to inner thighs. Dressed and headed to the kitchen.
8:50am Maureen had a cup of lemon water before breakfast. Reclined Geri chair one notch afterward.
9:05am Breakfast: Oatmeal/blueberries pancake, Greek yogurt, sliced banana, and coffee. No coughs.
9:15am Administered 10mg Loratadine with yogurt.
No Miralax given.
9:30am Oral care.
9:40am Facial routine performed.
10:00am Maureen is awake and relaxed watching a Disney movie.
10:30am Blood pressure: 100/60, P 79.
Maureen stayed alert and awake throughout the whole film, having a cup of lemon water in the meantime.
11:30am Transferred to the bedroom for Maureen’s first resting break. Diaper was medium wet, cleaned and changed then positioned on her right side.
12:30pm First break ends. Cleaned and changed a medium wet diaper and headed to the kitchen.
12:45pm Lunch: sweet peas soup, shrimp salad, avocado, full cup of root beer and Greek yogurt topped with fresh fruits for dessert. Maureen coughed once, sneezed twice and her nose was runny during lunch.
Reclined Geri chair one notch for comfort.
1:30pm Oral care.
2:00pm Maureen’s alert and in good spirits listening to her playlist.
2:30pm Transferred to the bedroom for Maureen’s second resting break. Diaper was dry, positioned on her left side at 2:40.
3:30pm Second break ends. Diaper was heavy wet, cleaned and changed. Dressed and headed to the living area.
3:45pm Maureen’s enjoying her fruit snack (apple/banana), and 3/4 cup of lemon water.
