8:00am Maureen’s sleepy, lying on her left side. Tom tells, she’s been in and out of sleep since 6ish.
8:30am Maureen is opening her eyes.
8:40am Maureen’s awake, we raised her bed to administer 75mcg Levothyroxine with apple sauce.
8:50am We started our day giving Maureen an upper body bath using warmed purple wipes. Merianne and I cleaned and changed a medium wet diaper, applied Cavilon barrier film to sacrum and barrier cream to inner thighs. No redness observed. Dressed and headed to the kitchen.
9:10am Breakfast: 6oz prune juice, oatmeal/blueberries pancake, couple spoons of Greek yogurt and coffee. Maureen coughed three times and her nose was runny, suction pump used once.
9:20am Administered 10mg loratadine with yogurt.
No Miralax.
Reclined Geri chair one notch for comfort.
9:35am Morning oral care.
9:45am Facial routine performed
10:00am Maureen sits comfortably in the recliner watching a movie.
She napped for about 50 minutes during the film.
Maureen finished drinking a cup of lemon water.
11:30am Blood pressure: 102/68, P 76.
11:40am Transferred to the bedroom for Maureen’s first resting break. Diaper was dry, positioned on her right side at 11:50am.
12:40pm First break ends. Diaper was medium wet, cleaned and changed, then transferred to the kitchen.
Reclined Geri chair one notch for Maureen’s comfort.
12:55pm Lunch: Turkey/cheese sandwich, fresh tomato, lemonade, and Greek yogurt for dessert. Maureen coughed once and her nose was runny, suction pump used.
1:35pm Oral care.
1:45pm We decided to give Maureen a saline Neb treatment after her nose was running throughout the whole time during lunch.
2:00pm Maureen sits relaxed and awake while listening to her playlist.
Maureen had half cup of lemon water.
2:30pm Transferred to the bedroom for Maureen’s second resting break. Diaper was heavy wet, cleaned and changed, then positioned on her left side.
3:30pm Second break ends. Diaper was dry, dressed and headed to the living room.
3:45pm Maureen’s enjoying her fruit snack (melon/pear/kiwi).
