  • 6:30AM - Maureen is awake. Maya checked the diaper. It is dry. Maya also noted that Maureen is very congested this morning.

  • Maya gave Maureen sips of water using a pink swab between 6:30 and the time when we began our morning routine.

  • Maureen began her day @ 8:10AM. She is in good spirts—alert and engaged.Diaper was medium wet. Maya began with the application of Tolcylen on both big toenails. After completing a clean & change using all three 3M Cavilon products where appropriate, we cleaned all areas of focus on Maureen's upper body with Aloe Vesta Cleansing Foam and warm wipes from the purple packet. All areas of focus look perfect. There is no redness at all.

  • As we were about to leave the bedroom, Maureen had a wet cough. We could tell she had coughed up some phlegm/mucus on her tongue. Maya was able to grab most of it with some tissue. This is a very good sign.

  • Breakfast service commenced @ 8:45AM. Posture in the geri chair is very good with the assistance of both green wedge pillows and Magic Mike. Maya gave Maureen a teaspoon of Manuka Honey followed immediately by the thyroid medication with a smattering of applesauce.

  • Maureen will consume approximately 4 ounces of prune juice this morning.

  • Daily MiraLAX dosage: None

  • 9:30AM - We tilted the geri chair back one level to adjust Maureen's position and to relieve the strain on her lower back.
