  • 6:30AM - Maureen is awake. Maya will give her sips of water via a swab from time to time until she starts her day.

  • 6:40AM - Maya checked the diaper. It is wet.

  • 7:32AM - Maureen is coughing somewhat frequently while laying in bed—approximately 4 to 6 times since 6:30.

  • Maureen began her day @ 8:10AM. She is in good form. Maya immediately applied Tolcylen to both big toenails. We sat Maureen up at 90 degrees in the bed to have some sips of water. The diaper is heavy wet. Maureen had a very small formed bowel movement. After completing a clean & change using all three 3M Cavilon products where appropriate, Maya and I cleaned all of the areas of focus on Maureen's upper body with Aloe Vesta Cleansing Foam and warmed wipes contained in the purple packet. There is no redness on any part of Maureen's upper body.

  • Breakfast service commenced @ 8:48AM. Maureen's posture in the geri chair is good. She is tilting a bit to the left. Maya began with a teaspoon of Manuka Honey followed immediately by the administration of the thyroid pill with just a bit of applesauce.

  • 9:15AM - Maya administered the blood pressure medication with a bit of applesauce.

  • 9:27AM - Morning oral care routine

  • 9:30AM - Low moan/groan begins for the first time. We lowered the geri chair one level to make Maureen more comfortable an to relieve pressure from her lower back.

  • 9:37AM - Eyelash cleaning and eye drops

  • 9:45AM - Morning facial including hands and arms

  • 9:57AM - Hand, arm, shoulder and leg exercises

  • General observation @ 10:21AM> Maureen's energy is less than normal. She is uttering the low moan/groan fairly often. Her eyes are partially closed. Currently, Maureen is almost falling asleep while Maya does her morning exercises.

  • 10:35AM - Organic fruit smoothie

  • 10:53AM - We headed to the bedroom to prepare for Rest Break #1. Diaper was light wet. As Maya and I were finishing the clean & change process, Maureen had a small formed bowel movement and urinated on the pad. We changed the pad and repeated the entire clean & change process. Once finished, we placed Maureen on her right side.

  • 11:17AM - Rest Break #1 begins

  • 12:13PM - Rest Break #1 concludes. The diaper is dry. We got Maureen dressed and headed to the kitchen for lunch.

  • 12:23PM - Lunch | 1/2 a tuna salad sandwich on toasted whole wheat, 1/2 bowl of organic chicken noodle soup and a serving of brussel sprouts

  • 1:25PM - Afternoon oral care

  • 2:00PM - We headed to the bedroom as Rest Break #2 was upon us. Diaper was medium wet. Maureen had a small formed bowel movement as well. After completing a thorough clean & change, Maya and I placed Maureen on her left side.

  • 2:16PM - Rest Break #2 begins.

  • 3:05PM - Rest Break #2 concludes. Diaper was medium wet. Maureen and a very large formed bowel movement. After performing a thorough clean & change, Maya and I transported Maureen to the front room for the remainder of the afternoon.

  • 3:35PM - Afternoon fruit snack

  • Daytime recap> It was a good day. Maureen had four bowel movements. Appetite was good. Coughing was significantly less than what we have observed during the last 4-5 weeks. Her energy was a bit low throughout the morning. Engagement and communication were not great. We heard the low moan/groan from time to time.
