Wednesday, February 14, 2024, Day Update

8:00 am: Maureen is awake now. She has been in and out of sleep since 5:30 am.

8:30 am: We raised the bed and administered 75mcg Levothyroxine w/apple sauce.

8:45 am: Our day starts giving Maureen a full body bath using warmed purple wipes and aloe vesta.

The diaper was dry. Cleaned and changed and applied Cavilon barrier/cream. Dressed and headed to the kitchen.

9:00 am: Administered 50mg Senna w/apple sauce and a cup of lemon water.

Reclined Geri chair one notch for comfort.

9:30 am: Breakfast: 8oz prune juice, oatmeal/fruit smoothie and couple spoons of Greek yogurt.

Maureen coughed few times, we used suction pump.

9:45 am: we administered 10mg Loratadine w/smoothie.

9:55 am : Oral Care.

10:10 am: Facial routine performed.

Maureen is enjoying watching an animated movie.

She napped for about 20 minutes during this time.

Ann, Rn came for Maureens weekly visit.

11:25 am: We transferred to the bedroom for Maureen’s first resting break

The Diaper was very wet, cleaned and changed. Positioned on her right side at 11:35.

12:10 pm: Andy visited Maureen.

12:30 pm: First break ends.

Diaper was medium wet, cleaned and changed.

Dressed and washed Maureen’s hair then headed to the kitchen.

12:45 pm: Blow dry and styled Maureen’s hair.

12:55 pm: Lunch: Chicken soup, tuna fish salad and beets. 1 full cup sparkling water and rice pudding for dessert. No coughs.

Reclined Geri chair one notch for comfort.

1:40 pm: Oral care.

Maureen was awake listening the music.

2:30 pm: We transferred Maureen to the bedroom for her second resting break. The diaper was medium wet. Cleaned and changed. Positioned her on left side at 2:45.

3:30 pm: Second break.

The diaper was dry.

Dressed and headed to the living room.

3:45 pm: Maureen is enjoying her fruit snack (melon/pear/kiwi).
