December 21 daytime update

• 6:35AM - Maureen is awake. She is chatting occasionally.

• 7:00AM - Diaper is dry. She remains awake.

• Maureen began her day @ 8:02AM. She is in good form. Diaper was light wet. We applied the Tolcylen and then performed a clean and change using the entire suite of 3M Cavilon products. Maya cleaned the entire navel area with Cetaphil and warm water. Lastly, we washed all areas of focus, including the waistline area, with Aloe Vesta Cleansing Foam. The waistline area is improving nicely. It is no larger and far less red. Maya applied a thin layer of Nystatin Ointment to entire waistline area.

• General observation @ 8:40AM> Maureen is more congested than normal this morning. She has sneezed multiple times since getting out of bed.

• Breakfast service began @ 8:43AM. Posture in the geri chair is average. Maureen is tilting forward and to the left a bit. Maya began by giving Maureen a teaspoon of Manuka honey. She immediately followed up with the thyroid medication. Maureen had some trouble with breakfast this morning. She coughed eight times.

• Maureen will drink 4 ounces of prune juice this morning.

• Daily MiraLAX dosage: None

• 9:08AM - Maya administered the blood pressure medication

• 9:10AM - Morning oral care

• 9:15AM - Maya and I transported Maureen to the front room in advance of a visit from Aunt Eileen and cousin Denise.

• 9:20AM - Morning facial

• 9:45AM - Aunt Eileen and cousin Denise arrive.

• 12:15PM - Aunt Eileen and cousin Denise depart. It was a lovely visit. They brought a Starbucks pumpkin spiced latte for Maureen. She really enjoyed it.

• 12:20PM - We took Maureen to the bedroom for a clean and change. The diaper was heavy wet. Maya and I took the opportunity to check the red area at Maureen's waistline. It looks significantly better now that it did this morning. After completing the clean and change, we headed to the kitchen for lunch.

• 12:46PM - Lunch | Maya prepared 1/2 ham and cheese sandwich on toasted whole wheat, 1/2 a bowl of homemade vegetable soup and 1/4 of a sliced tomato. Maureen will consume a 12 ounce bottle of Harmless Harvest Organic Coconut Water. Lunch wet down extremely well. She did not cough once.

• 1:24PM - Afternoon oral care.

• 1:55PM - The afternoon rest break was approaching. We took Maureen to the bedroom. Diaper was medium wet. Maya and I performed a clean and change and set Maureen on her right side.

• 2:08PM - Afternoon rest break begins.

• 3:08PM - Afternoon rest break concludes. Diaper was medium wet. After completing a clean and change, we headed to the front room for the remainder of the afternoon.

• 3:28PM - Afternoon fruit snack.
