August 29 daytime update

  • 6:35AM - Maureen is awake. She drifts in and out of sleep. Stirs a bit from time to time.

  • 6:50AM - Maureen is now fully awake. She is very calm. Seems very well rested and at ease. I gave her 5-6 sips of water via a pink mouth swab.

  • I just checked on Maureen again. She remains awake and in peace. I gave her three more sips of water via the pink mouth swab.

  • Maureen began her day @ 8:02AM. She is alert and engaged today. Congestion is somewhat evident. The diaper is medium wet. Click/tap here to view a detailed overview of the process Djon and I use to get Maureen ready for the day.

  • 8:31AM - Djon administered a dose of Flonase into each nostril.

  • Breakfast service began @ 8:31AM. Posture in the geri chair is very good. We used the two green wedge pillows and the red couch pillow to set Maureen up perfectly. Click/tap here for detailed overview of the entire breakfast service process Djon and I use each day.

  • Daily MiraLAX dosage: 1/2 cap of MiraLAX mixed in with six ounces of prune juice

  • 9:09AM - Morning oral care routine

  • 9:15AM - Maureen took a brief nap.

  • 9:29AM - Morning facial routine

  • 9:57AM - We headed out for a morning walk.

  • 10:29AM - We returned to the house. Walked .86 of a mile. It was a nice morning—rather humid. Maureen acquitted herself quite well. He posture was excelling in the chair while we were making our rounds.

  • 10:39AM - Organic fruit smoothie - Maureen got very lethargic about halfway through the smoothie. She did not swallow one of the servings Djon gave her. This is the first time I observed this. Maureen is now beginning to nod off. Is very quiet.

  • 11:16AM - We headed to the bedroom in advance of Rest Break #1. The diaper was medium wet. Maureen had a small soft bowel movement. Djon and I completed a clean and change. We then placed Maureen on her left side.

  • 11:26AM - Rest Break #1.

  • 12:28PM - Rest Break #1 concludes. Diaper was light wet. Djon and I completed a clean & change. We then headed out to the kitchen for lunch.

  • 12:41PM - Lunch | Djon prepared a serving of Chesapeake Bay shrimp salad, a medley of grilled portobello mushroom and squash and a 1/4 of a bowl of homemade lentil soup. Maureen will also consume one 12-ounce bottle of Harmless Harvest Organic Coconut Waster.

  • 1:44PM - Afternoon oral care routine

  • 2:00PM - We transported Maureen to the bedroom to prepare for Ret Break #2. Diaper was heavy wet. Maureen had a large soft bowel movement. Djon thoroughly cleaned Maureen. We concluded by placing Maureen on her right side.

  • 2:16PM - Rest Break #2 begins.

  • 3:18PM - Rest Break #2 concludes. Diaper is heavy wet. Djon and I cleaned and changed Maureen. We then headed to the front room for the remainder of the afternoon.

  • 3:32PM - Afternoon fruit snack

9:30AM - Maureen's on her left side, already awake. No signs of pain or any distress. Tom’s giving her sips of water via swabs. 9:35AM- We placed Maureen in an upright position and administered 75mcg

 
 
 
Sunday April 19th Daytime Summary

-9:30am Maureen is asleep -10:00am Maureen is awake, we changed her diaper she was medium wet w/medium VD odorless and cloudy. Applied sureprep to her sacrum area and cavilon between her inner thighs
