6:35AM - Maureen is sleeping soundly
6:55AM - She coughed loudly. Djon checked her. Diaper is slightly damp. She is sound asleep again.
7:45AM - Maureen remains sound asleep.
8:30AM - No change. She is still sleeping soundly.
9:00AM - Maureen continues sleep quite soundly. She is beginning to stir a bit.
9:20AM - We are going to slowly start the morning routine.
We began the morning routine deliberately @ 9:30AM. Maureen was a bit groggy. Her hands and feet were a little cooler than normal—especially her hands. Her diaper was medium wet. Unfortunately, the pad was wet with urine. Djon cleaned her thoroughly with warmed wipes form the purple packet. We put on a fresh pull up and a pair of freshly laundered shorts.
Breakfast service began @ 9:50AM. Djon administered the thyroid pill immediately before he began feeding her. Maureen was tilting somewhat heavily to the right when we placed her in the geri chair. Shortly thereafter, her posture straightened out. We inserted a wedge pillow on each side of her for comfort. They serve as extended armrests.
Djon administered the blood pressure pill and baby aspirin @ 10:15AM.
Coughing was much better during breakfast this morning. Maureen only coughed 2-3 times at most. There were no cough sneezes this morning.
10:50AM - Vitals - Temperature: 98.6, Oxygen: 100% and Pulse: 88
11:15AM - Djon checked the diaper. It was slightly wet. After some discussion, we decided to take Maureen to the bedroom to be cleaned and changed. There was no additional activity in the bedroom. Djon thoroughly cleaned Maureen and put on a new pull up. There were no red marks on Maureen's posterior.
12:00PM - Vitals - Temperature: 98.6, Oxygen: 98% and Pulse: 92
12:50PM - Djon determined the pull up was wet. We headed to the bedroom for a clean and change. While removing the pull up, we discovered Maureen had a very small formed bowel movement. Djon throughly cleaned Maureen. We then put a new pull up on her and her shorts back on.
1:15PM - Lunch - Today Maureen enjoyed a mixed baby greens salad with raspberries, avocado, goat cheese and balsamic vinaigrette and an assortment of sushi rolls ( tuna, California and tuna with avocado.)
2:55PM - Djon checked the pull up. It was slightly wet. We once again decided to go to the bedroom. While taking off the pull up, we noted Maureen had a very small formed bowel movement. Djon thoroughly cleaned Maureen and put on a new pull up.
3:20PM - Fruit snack time.
