8:20am Maureen is awake. We begin to get ready for the day. Diaper is wet, changed to a dry pull-up. Changed in to a new set of clothes. Transferred Maureen from bed to day chair using the Hoyer lift.
8:40am Administered morning medications with applesauce. 8:45am Breakfast time. Maureen ate 100% of omelet, English muffin, and banana. Drank 1/2 cup prune juice and one cup water. 9:30am Maureen is slowly losing energy. She is less engaged in conversation and leaning significantly forward and to her left side.
Maureen’s blood pressure at this time: 126/78. 10:10am Transferred Maureen from day chair to recliner using the Hoyer lift. 1:30pm Transferred Maureen from recliner to the day chair using the Hoyer lift. Up to the bathroom. Pull-up is wet, changed to dry. Maureen did not urinate or move her bowels. 1:45pm Lunch time. Maureen ate 100% of tuna sandwich and Brussel sprouts. Maureen also had one cup of water. 4:50pm We took Maureen to the bathroom. Pull-up is wet. Maureen urinated (cloudy) and had a small, firm bowel movement. Tom and I noticed Maureen exclaim as she began to urinate, and wonder if she was in pain while urinating. 5:10pm Transferred Maureen from day chair to recliner. Tom and I noticed Maureen is now leaning towards her right side instead of her left side.
6:30pm Dinner time. Maureen ate 100% of her filet mignon, salad, and carrots. Maureen also had two cups of water.
7:40pm Administered 10mg OLANZAPINE with pudding and 7.5mL VIMPAT. Oral care after.
8:00pm Bedtime. Transferred Maureen from the day chair to the bed using the Hoyer lift. Pull-up is dry, changed to a new diaper. Vicks applied to chest and both right and left big toe. Maureen is turned to her left side.
