April 21 daytime update

• 6:30AM - Maureen remains sleeping. Maya checked the yellow indicator on the diaper. It indicates she is partially wet.

• 8:30AM - Maureen remains sound asleep.

• 9:30AM - Maureen remains sound asleep.

• Maureen awoke suddenly at 9:40. She exhibited the common symptoms of a slight seizure. We turned her on right side as a precaution. The slight seizure passed by 10:00AM.

• Day officially began at 10:00AM. Maureen's diaper was soaked. Maya cleaned Maureen and put a fresh pull up on her.

• Breakfast began at 10:20AM. Maureen is sitting upright in the day chair w/o assistance. Her disposition is good—brow is not furrowed.

• Maureen will drink 1/2 cup of prune juice.

• Nasal congestion is significant. It warrants a does of Flonase in each nostril.

• Per Tom and Carolyn, we will not administer the 5mg of Escitalopram (Lexapro) today. This change was implemented on April 20, 2021.

• 10:38 - Morning meds administered.

• 11:25AM - Maureen has begun to lose energy—she has a frown on her face now and her forehead is furrowed. She began to tilt to left in the day chair. Maya inserted the wedge pillow into day chair to straighten her out.

• 12:05PM - We took Maureen to the bathroom. Waited 20 minutes. No luck.

• 12:30PM - Fruit smoothie time

• 2:00PM - We returned to the bathroom. At approximately 2:15PM, Maureen urinated and moved her bowels—somewhat cloudy and average size firm stool.
